The story of Karaca began in 1973 with the courage, hope, and excitement a father shared with his sons. The family, led by Hüseyin Karaca, entered the glass business in Istanbul's Süleymaniye under the name Karaca Züccaciye. In their small workshop employing 30 people, they began by designing patterns on glass products.
The Karaca brothers later ventured into selling porcelain, and by the 1990s, they broadened their customer base by also distributing popular small electric home appliances of the time. Eager to share their story with everyone, the family decided to produce under the Karaca brand and started manufacturing their steel pot sets in 1999. Two years later, after discovering that the world's highest-quality porcelain was sourced from France's Limoges region, they established the necessary connections, sourced the raw materials, and began producing porcelain in Tunisia. Despite the economic crisis of 2001, the four brothers didn't hesitate to make such an international move, and their bold steps have transformed Karaca into a global brand today. Serving in various categories like tableware, kitchenware, small home appliances, home textiles, and accessories, Karaca maintains its "Strong Leader" position in its sector by differentiating itself in the competition with new ideas and designs. Karaca's story of exciting beginnings has spread from one family to others, increasing the number of plates on its table as it expands. Karaca continues to share its story so everyone can experience the joy of sharing.
Continuing its journey since 1973 with the responsibility of being a pioneering design brand, the Karaca Group serves with 11 brands, including Karaca, Karaca Home, Emsan, Jumbo, Cook Plus, Kaşmir Halı, Homend, Nautica Home, Weimar Porzellan, Pera Bulvarı, and Cooklife. Currently, Karaca employs close to 3500 staff within its group companies and continues to increase its number of employees daily as a brand focused on growth and increased business volume.
Today, Karaca brings together Karacaseverler with over 10,000 products in 140 categories, ranging from dinner sets to small home appliances, under its brand. Karaca Group operates nearly 300 stores in 25 countries and over 2,000 sales points, reaching 48 countries with its online sales channels, dealer and distributor network.
